“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed. “The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.” Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you. For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters. Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,
and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. How abundant are the good things
that you have stored up for those who fear you,
that you bestow in the sight of all,
on those who take refuge in you. But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled. “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ Blessed are those who keep his statutes

Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers. The blessing of the Lord brings wealth,
without painful toil for it. The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights. Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord. Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones. May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him. For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you. For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit. Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen. And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good? Observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips. From the Lord comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people. Blessings crown the head of the righteous,
but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted. The name of the righteous is used in blessings,
but the name of the wicked will rot. Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you. “If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he chose for his inheritance. The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. Let your face shine on your servant;
save me in your unfailing love. Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.” Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man. Listen, my son, accept what I say,
and the years of your life will be many. He holds success in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Blessed is the one whom God corrects;
so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time. I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.
